As of October 15, 2012, our daughter, sister, Auntie, & friend, Malia, had a spinal tap, a Lumbar Peritoneal shunt, 3 external shunts, & 4 Ventricular Peritoneal shunt replacement surgeries/procedures since being admitted to the hospital on July 21, 2012. On September 11, 2012, the pressure in her head, the high levels of pain medication and the lack of adequate medical care, caused Malia to have a seizure & temporary heart failure.

The treatment in the U.S. is still experimental. In Europe, it has shown an 85 percent success rate of stopping &-or reversing the illness. I am doing this for me and my children. This project began 4 yrs ago. Production took place on weekends only. Our dedicated, and unpaid, cast & crew sacrificed their time & efforts over an 8 week period. This feature-length film was shot on b/w super-16mm.
Post-production has been much more difficult than we had anticipated.
All donations will be used to finish the film’s sound.
