I was born in Greensboro North Carolina and moved to a small town called Laurinburg North Carolina. I graduated from Scotland High School in 2000 where I was very active in sports. I played football, soccer, wrestling, and baseball. I was a defensive back in soccer, I was the kicker for the football team, I was all conference in wrestling my junior and senior year and one of the captains of the team, and catcher for our baseball team. After graduating I attended ECU where I was a catcher for the 2002-2004 ECU baseball team. We were conference champs and regional champs my senior year.I graduated from ECU with a BS in Exercise Physiology and then went and received my MA in Health Education and Promotion. I am now finishing up an accelerated Nursing program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have one more semester left and I cannot wait to graduate. I swear I am going to grow up soon!I am engaged to an extremely beautiful girl named Katie. We plan to get married next year in September. We have two dogs, Rally and Bella (chocolate and silver lab).Currently I am a member of the USA Elite Developmental Bobsled/Skeleton Team.  I hope to make it to the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi Russia.
