I am a fairly well known audio engineer in the central and southern Pennsylvania area who is looking for funding to build a touring sound system to provide sound for local, up and coming, and well known musicians, artists, venues, and events. Investing in this project will give you the opportunity to use my services to better serve you.

I have a full time offer from a band by the name of Hillbilly Thunder who can be reached at hillbillythunder.com. Their sound engineer got an offer to work in Nashville, TN and they want me to come on full time for their sound. They tour over southern and central PA, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. That being said, I would need a system capable of providing that scale and quality of sound. The specific ideas of the system I am looking to fund by the end of the year can be found at my Sweetwater Wishlist.

I also work in partnership with local engineers in the York, PA area and am looking to fund a system to provide my skills for the community and to do bigger shows and cover more area. I am a recommended sound guy buy many artists and venues with experience in the field for about 7 years and have education background to build on my expertise. I started running audio at my church in seventh grade with Crest Audio analog consoles and over the years have worked for numerous companies, doing all different tasks from install and repair, to production. I have attended several conferences and studied 3 semesters of music recording at Lebanon Valley College, but could not afford to stay there for financial reasons. I continue to set up and run live concerts in the area with other engineers and provided equipment while working full time as a CNC machinist. My passion is in setting up live systems, whether it be digital or analog, and providing the best sound you can get out of the equipment and helping bands progress while providing the community with a sound they can come out and enjoy. I have provided sound for churches, benefit concerts, festivals, weddings, etc.

I will be eternally grateful to anyone who can help to make this happen. And all who donate over 50 dollars, will get the opportunity to come out and see an event free of charge, and those of you who donate over 250 dollars my services will be offered to you free of charge for one event.

Thanks ahead of time for all those who are out there making this happen.

Updates:
-07/04/12: Thanks to my brother lending me the cash recently for a great deal i found in Virginia, I was able to pickup (2) JBL PRX 518 active subs and (2) JBL PRX 515s all powered by crown amplifiers. This saved me over $2000 off the final goal of the project and brought on new connections. Every little bit goes a long way. As stated, these are active speakers. My plan was to go with a passive speaker configuration, but at this point I'll be saving money by going with an active setup. For all those not familiar, active speakers have the amps and crossovers built into the speaker housing as opposed to having a rack of amplifiers for the speakers.

-Along the same lines, the plan is to keep up with the ongoing growing digital world with a digital console. This will save money in the long run, avoiding having to purchase the extra outboard gear due to digital consoles having on-board processing. If you check out the wish-list link above, you'll see two consoles. The Allen & Heath GLD-80 with a digital snake is my dream board, but I recently found comparable consoles for much less bank. These being the PreSonus StudioLive 24.4.2 and the Behringer x32.
