Wild Tomatillo (physalis longifolia) is a common weed found throughout the great plains area of the United States. Recently published research shows that this amazing plant contains 14 different anti-cancer compounds with great promise in stopping tumor growth and even causing tumors to shrink and dissolve.
The research has been lead by University of Kansas Professor Barbara Timmermann who has a long history in the field of plant based medicines and has traveled the world in search of indigenous plants with these characteristics.
After returning from South America due to a lack of funding she joined forces with Kelly Kindscher, who is a senior scientist with the Kansas Biological Survey. Together they picked up where Timmermann left off in the southern hemisphere picking up the hunt for cures to cancer right here in the heartland of America. Wild tomatillo not only contains the original compound Timmermann found in South America, they have also identified an additional 14 cancer fighting compounds.
The compounds are called withanolides and animal trials are already showing amazing results. Dr. Cohen, a surgical oncologist working with Timmerman and Kindscher to test the withanolides on different types of cancer. During the testing mice with thyroid cancer, breast cancer, head and neck squamous cell cancer, melanomas, esophageal cancer, glioblastoma brain tumors, pancreatic cancer, and certain leukemias were fed wild tomatillo. The results were profoud; tumors shrank drastically or dissolved completely. These results were attained without any side effects or problems with toxicity.
Unfortunately there are no commercially available extracts or powders available at this time.
At WildTomatillo.com we are hard at work developing a variety of products that incorporate this amazing and potentially cancer curing plant to market. If you would like to be one of the first to get access to these new products please make a $100 donation to this fundraiser and you will receive one of the first samples we produce.
