We would be absolutely stoked if you gave a donation. We are really excited about this project and the fun we could have entertaining (and freaking out) conference delegates at Storyworld 2011. With your help we could create a three day event that is unique, entertaining and scary. The more sponsorship we receive the more we can do and the more exciting our project will become.
Potential sponsors have the benefit of exposure at a major international event which will be attended by pioneers from the Film, TV, Games, Internet and Technical industries. If you can help us out we will happily advertise you on our print and online materials.
The Storyworld conference is the first of its kind and brings leaders in film and cross-platform entertainment together to talk about transmedia entertainment - the most exciting and potentially lucrative development in entertainment today.
We are a group of multiplatform writers and producers raising funds to take our transmedia story - which includes a comic scrapbook, app, films, online and real world performances - out to San Francisco.
With your help we could cover the technical and production costs needed to put on a scary Halloween game that will take conference delegates on a journey through the spirit world and San Francisco's dark history to uncover the truth behind a mysterious event in the conference hotel. We need your help to bring our vision to reality.
Without giving too much of the story away, Zoetrap is about an evil, occult force that has suddenly come back to life and is seizing souls. Players become Paranormal Investigators who use our app to access the spirit realm. They'll hear ghosts talk and souls scream as they hunt down clues to solve the mystery of strange and unexplained occurrences at the conference.
Zoetrap itself has now been launched online

App developers
App Furnace have already pledged £4,000 and their time and expertise to the project. We are currently working with them to build the Zoetrap App which turns a player's phone into a Ouija board that will help guide them through the ARG experience. They just have to make sure they don't get caught!
The main ARG is told over the three days of the conference and delegates can dip in and out of it as they wish and work together to solve clues and scare one another.
