Please help our deadline is July 23, 2011.
I am trying to fund a Massachusetts 4x4 relay team Lee DiMattia, Will Paulo, Nicholas Scarsdale and Cedric Nsilo-Swai to travel to and stay in Wichita Kansas for the National Jr. Olympics.  The Regional Jr. Olympic qualifiers were only last weekend (July 8-July 10) so we are in a time crunch and having just paid for the Regional trip some of the parents are finding it difficult to pay to get the kids and chaperones to Wichita.  These kids really deserve to go they have worked extremely hard all year and have dedicated coaches willing to continue to work with the kids training for the event.  These are really a special group of kids and coaches and we would like them to be able to participate in this fantastic opportunity.

The track team is only in its second year and the athletes and coaches have been exceptional.  Because our school does not have a track the kids have to train in the parking lot and only have access to a track on certain practices when one can be arranged.  They had many practices and meets this year in the cold and rain and the kids showed grace and sportsmanship in all the conditions that they endured.  During many meets the other coaches would have positive comments about the kids attitudes and abilities.  It would be such a great thing for not only the athletes but for their whole school community and Massachusetts to have these athletes represent them at National Jr. Olympics.
